Was the first professor of Medicine in the University of Pavia

Toscani, Carl Josef: 1752 -
1813. Painter on porcelain, of the Danish School. He worked
in the painting of porcelain of Meissen in Copenhagen. It is brother
of Cayetano Toscani.
Toscani, Cayetano
or Gaetano: He was
born in Mariachein in 1742 and died in Dresde (Germany) on December
22nd 1815. Designer of the German School. Brother of Carl Josef
Toscani, lived in Dresde and it executed the copies of the
Real Gallery of that city.
Toscani, Dino: He was
born in Cameri (Novara, Italy) on February 22nd 1922, he resided and
worked in Novara. After the classic studies, he was devoted to the
painting from 1940, continuing initially the teachings of Angelo
Goglio Tasso and of Nino Di Salvatore. It began to expose in 1944,
with the participation in reviews and collective, national and
international samples, among those that we remember:
a) from 1944 to 1957, all
the manifestations organized in Novara; b) 1954, Sample of Contemporary
Art in Torino (Italy); c) 1955, Franciscan Contemporay
Art in Asis (Italy); d) 1956, Show of the Mountain at
Borgomanero (Italy); e) 1957, X Prize Copparo, 1st
National Pure Art Show in Naples (Italy), 1st National Show
of Sacred Art in Caserta (Italy), X National Prize in Suzzara
(Italy); f) 1959, Bozzolo Reward and Abbiategrasso
Prize. He had carried out personal samples, not only in Novara, but
also in Forlí in 1957 and in Rovereto in 1958. Their works figure
in the Permanent gallery of Franciscan Sacred Art in Asis (Italy),
and in collections of Novara, Milán, Torino, Borgomanero and San
Francisco (Italy).
Toscani, Fedele: born
at Farini d'Olmo (Piacenza, Italy) on 1876 and died at Piacenza on
April 8th 1906. Sculptor and Paiter of the Italian School. El
Selfportrait exposed at the "Famiglia
Artistica Milanese" on 1916, belongs to the Polenghi
Collection.

Toscani, Giuseppe:
born in Grottammare (Ascole Piceno, Italy) on November 26th 1878,
died in
Genova (Italy) on October 30th 1958. He studied in Florence
(Italy) under the guide of Master Cassioli. Priest, he was devoted
exclusively to the sacred art. Their works are in many churches of
their native city and also in the archdiocese; they stand out his
works in Fermo in the "Collegian of St Michael Archangel and
those of Santa Lucía's Parish. It carried out a cycle of histories
in the Church of Nereto (Teramo, Italy) representing Historical
episodes of the time of French revolution. Italian school.
Toscani Odoardo: born
in Rome (Italy) on December 19th 1859 and died at Smirna (Turkish
Empire) for causes of service on June 13th 1914, were Consul General
of their Majesty the King from Italy, Cavalliere Ufficiale
Mauriziano and of the Crown of Italy. It was very active in the
Ottocento (XIX Century). He treated especially the military
generate. They make an appointment among their paintings: Crimea
15 August 1855, exposed in Torino, Italy in 1883; In
marcia; L'alt and Le grandi manovre, besides L'étéra,
exposed the same year in Rome. See

Toscani Tomasso: born
in
Toscana on the XIXth century. Sculptor of the Italian
School. Described as an able artist on the "Dizionario
della Storia dell'Arte".
Toscani, Vincenzo:
born in Soragna (Italy) on April 5th 1815 and died on March 30th 1893.
Band director.
Priest, the Prince Meli Lupi children's governor, teaches in the
primary schools. It cultivated the music and in 1843 creates in his
town a musical body. He obtained after years that the Commune grants
him with a small subsidy. It was also composer, director of the
